I have been playing PC games for well over 15 years now and in that time have accumulated a vast collection of discs with mods, maps and patches for the games. I have even created and uploaded my own mods.
Over time I began organizing the files into separate sub folders and soon had a collection to be proud of.
Time and time again the libraries became invaluable, and some of my friends often helped with their own contributions.
In 2008 while I was taking my exams I decided to create a repository where I could easily store and categorize my files.
The website became known as Mods Reloaded, and I'm still working on it today.
The site is run by a very small team of gamers and computer enthusiasts. Our goal is to create a search-able repository with filters and advanced sorting options.
Most of our time has been spent establishing the framework and uploading the files. The aim of the blog is to discover if there are any gamers with some spare time on their hands.
We are trying to add as many mods as possible but with other commitments we can't dedicate as much time as we used too.
As the developer I'd like to concentrate on the features of the site and not have to worry about content or moderation. I acknowledge I have to do some moderation however my primary objective is to build upon the sites existing features.
Ideally we hope to get enough support so each participant moderator can spend some time playing the games and the mods available.
We're a non-profit site so we're pretty much always in the red. If I can just get some assistance then I can start categorizing and adding the new features. With revision and work time is always precious.
Hope someone can help...
